I would like to talk about what I have learned from the Pure Conduct Chapter of the Avatamska Sutra.<\/p>\n\n\n

\u8a18\u5f97\u6c99\u5f4c\u5c3c\u7684\u6642\u5019\uff0c\u4e0a\u6bd7\u5c3c\u65e5\u7528\u5207\u8981\u9019\u9580\u8ab2\uff0c\u6cd5\u5e2b\u8981\u6c42\u6211\u5011\u8981\u82b1\u6642\u9593\u80cc\u6703\u4e94\u5341\u4e09\u5c0f\u5492\u3002\u6211\u7576\u6642\u554f\u6cd5\u5e2b\uff1a\u6211\u5011\u662f\u4e0d\u662f\u53ef\u4ee5\u4e00\u5fc3\u5ff5\u4f5b\u5462\uff1f\u6211\u5011\u53ef\u4ee5\u7528\u4e00\u5fc3\u5ff5\u4f5b\u4f86\u4ee3\u66ff\u80cc\u4e94\u5341\u4e09\u5c0f\u5492\u55ce\uff1f \u56e0\u70ba\u6211\u89ba\u5f97\u6c92\u982d\u6c92\u5c3e\u7684\u80cc\u4e94\u5341\u4e09\u500b\u5048\u980c\u662f\u4e0d\u662f\u592a\u6d6a\u8cbb\u6642\u9593\u4e86\u3002\u5982\u679c\u4e00\u5929\u7576\u4e2d\u8981\u4fdd\u6301\u651d\u5fc3\uff0c\u4e00\u5fc3\u5ff5\u4f5b\u4e0d\u662f\u4e00\u6a23\u7684\u55ce\uff1f<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I remember when I was a Shamini, we studied the Daily Vinaya Essentials. Our Dharma Master asked us to take the time to memorize the 53 mantras. However, I couldn\u2019t help but question whether it would be more efficient to recite the Buddha\u2019s name single-mindedly, rather than spend time on 53 mantras. After all, Wouldn’t the practice of mindfulness and daily recitation of the Buddha’s name with full attention lead to the same results?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u4e0d\u904e\u73fe\u5728\u6211\u4e0d\u6703\u518d\u63d0\u2014\u2014\u662f\u4e0d\u662f\u80fd\u300c\u4e00\u5fc3\u5ff5\u4f5b\u300d\u9019\u500b\u554f\u984c\u4e86\u3002\u6211\u5982\u679c\u73fe\u5728\u9084\u7e7c\u7e8c\u8a2d\u60f3\u300c\u6211\u8981\u4e00\u5fc3\u5ff5\u4f5b\u300d\u9019\u500b\u507d\u547d\u984c\uff0c\u9019\u662f\u5728\u6b3a\u9a19\u6211\u81ea\u5df1\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But now I will no longer question my ability to “recite the Buddha’s name with one mind.” It would be self-deception to keep thinking that I want to recite the Buddha’s name with one mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u5f8c\u4f86\u6211\u5011\u91cd\u8907\u5730\u4e0a\u300c\u4e94\u5341\u4e09\u5c0f\u5492\u300d\uff0c\u53bb\u5230\u5176\u4ed6\u9053\u5834\uff0c\u57f7\u4e8b\u6cd5\u5e2b\u90fd\u7d66\u6211\u5011\u4e0a\u4e94\u5341\u4e09\u5c0f\u5492\u3002\u4e0a\u4e86\u597d\u5e7e\u904d\uff0c\u76f8\u4e0d\u5230\u7684\u662f\uff0c\u9019\u6a23\u91cd\u8907\u4e0a\u8ab2\u4e0d\u50c5\u6c92\u6709\u89ba\u5f97\u67af\u71e5\u4e4f\u5473\uff1b\u53cd\u800c\u662f\u8d8a\u4f86\u8d8a\u559c\u6b61\u4e94\u5341\u4e09\u5c0f\u5492\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We continued to attend the \u201c53 mantras\u201d class when we visited different branch monasteries, the Dharma Masters there also taught us the 53 mantras. Surprisingly, I found myself enjoying the 53 mantras more and more, instead of getting bored with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u4e0a\u68b5\u7db2\u7d93\u83e9\u85a9\u6212\u8ab2\u7684\u6642\u5019\uff0c\u5c31\u5c0d\u81ea\u5df1\u662f\u5426\u80fd\u6301\u5341\u91cd\u56db\u5341\u516b\u8f15\u83e9\u85a9\u6212\u611f\u5230\u61f7\u7591\u3002\u56e0\u70ba\u83e9\u85a9\u6212\u662f\u4f5c\u6301\u6212\uff0c\u89ba\u5f97\u4e00\u500b\u4e0d\u5c0f\u5fc3\u2014\u2014\u8a72\u767c\u5fc3\u7684\u6642\u5019\u6c92\u6709\u767c\u5fc3\u5c31\u6703\u5931\u5b88\u83e9\u85a9\u6212\uff0c\u66f4\u4e0d\u8981\u8aaa\u5929\u5929\u767c\u60e1\u5ff5\u4e86\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When taking the Brahma Net Sutra Bodhisattva Precepts, I found myself doubting my capability to uphold the ten major and forty-eight minor Bodhisattva Precepts; because we need to cultivate wholesome deeds to uphold the precepts. I worried that I would fall short of observing them, not to mention that my negative thoughts that arise every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u6709\u6642\u5019\u6cd5\u5e2b\u8b93\u6211\u5011\u8907\u8ff0\u83e9\u85a9\u6212\u7684\u5167\u5bb9\uff0c\u6211\u4e5f\u8b1b\u4e0d\u51fa\u4f86\uff0c\u89ba\u5f97\u8907\u8ff0\u5f88\u56f0\u96e3\u3002\u6211\u60f3\u70ba\u4ec0\u9ebc\u660e\u660e\u90a3\u4e9b\u4e2d\u6587\u5b57\u90fd\u8a8d\u5f97\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\u81ea\u5df1\u91cd\u65b0\u8b1b\u4e00\u904d\u537b\u8b1b\u4e0d\u51fa\u4f86\u5462\uff1f\u5982\u679c\u9023\u8907\u8ff0\u90fd\u6709\u56f0\u96e3\uff0c\u5c07\u4f86\u600e\u9ebc\u6301\u83e9\u85a9\u6212\u5462\uff1f\u89ba\u5f97\u627e\u4e0d\u5230\u80cc\u7684\u611f\u89ba\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In class, the Dharm Master asked us to explain the Bodhisattva precepts according to the books, and I must say, I faced some difficulty with it, finding it a bit challenging. With my familiarity with the Chinese characters, I couldn\u2019t understand why I struggled to express the meaning of the book. It made me reflect on how I could uphold the Bodhisattva precepts in the future if I couldn\u2019t even explain them. I feel like lost in it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u597d\u50cf\u662f\u5728\u68b5\u7db2\u7d93\u83e9\u85a9\u6212\u6dfa\u91cb\u9019\u672c\u66f8\uff0c\u6216\u662f\u54ea\u4e00\u53c3\u8003\u66f8\u88e1\u770b\u5230\u9019\u4e00\u500b\u516c\u6848\uff0c\u6211\u60f3\u5927\u5bb6\u90fd\u807d\u8aaa\u904e\u9019\u500b\u516c\u6848\u3002\u5c31\u662f\u7576\u6642\u8ce2\u9996\u83e9\u85a9\u7814\u7a76\u83ef\u56b4\u7d93\uff0c\u80fd\u80cc\u51fa\u6de8\u884c\u54c1\uff0c\u4f46\u4e2d\u570b\u6c92\u6709\u83e9\u85a9\u6212\u6212\u5e2b\uff0c\u4ed6\u60f3\u8ddf\u5370\u5ea6\u50e7\u6c42\u6388\u83e9\u85a9\u6212\uff0c\u5370\u5ea6\u50e7\u9a5a\u6b4e\u9053\uff1a\u300c\u83ef\u56b4\u4e00\u4e58\u4e43\u8af8\u4f5b\u4e4b\u79d8\u85cf\uff0c\u5176\u7d93\u751a\u96e3\u503c\u9047\uff0c\u4f55\u6cc1\u80fd\u7406\u89e3\u7d93\u4e2d\u8981\u7fa9\uff01\u82e5\u6709\u4eba\u80fd\u8b80\u8aa6\u3008\u6de8\u884c\u54c1\u3009\u4e00\u54c1\uff0c\u5176\u4eba\u5df2\u5177\u8db3\u83e9\u85a9\u6de8\u6212\uff0c\u4e0d\u9808\u53e6\u518d\u6c42\u53d7\u83e9\u85a9\u6212\u3002\u300d(\u300a\u5927\u65b9\u5ee3\u4f5b\u83ef\u56b4\u7d93\u611f\u61c9\u50b3\u300b)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is likely that we are all familiar with this particular case, whether we\u2019ve come across it in the Bodhisattva Precept book or in one of the other reference books. In this story, the Xianshou Bodhisattva dedicated himself to studying the Avatamaska Sutra and managed to memorize the Pure Conduct Chapter successfully. However, during that time, there were no Bodhisattva Masters in China. Because of this, Xianshou Bodhisattva wanted to learn the Bodhisattva precepts from an Indian monk. The Indian monk responded, \u201cThe Avatamaska Sutra is a precious storehouse of profound secrets of all the teachings passed down from the Buddhas. Encountering it is an extremely rare opportunity, and comprehending its profound meaning is even rarer! Even if one is able to memorize the Pure Conduct Chapter, they have already accomplished the practice of the Bodhisattva precepts, and do not need to seek the Bodhisattva Precepts elsewhere.\u201d (From the collection of responses to the Avatamaska Sutra)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u9019\u500b\u516c\u6848\u771f\u662f\u7167\u4eae\u4e86\u6211\u7684\u5fc3\uff01\u539f\u4f86\u9084\u6709\u9019\u9ebd\u597d\u7684\u4e00\u500b\u8fa6\u6cd5\u53ef\u4ee5\u5177\u8db3\u83e9\u85a9\u6212\uff0c\u5c31\u662f\u80cc\u8aa6\u300a\u6de8\u884c\u54c1\u300b\uff01\u5982\u679c\u628a\u6de8\u884c\u54c1\u80cc\u51fa\u4f86\uff0c\u5c31\u4e0d\u7528\u64d4\u5fc3\u83e9\u85a9\u6212\u53d7\u6301\u4e0d\u4e86\u7684\u60c5\u6cc1\u4e86\u3002\u9019\u592a\u597d\u4e86\uff01<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I was inspired by this story! I have found a wonderful way to follow the Bodhisattva precepts by memorizing the Pure Conduct Chapter. With the Pure Practice in my heart, I can liberate myself from anxiety about upholding the precepts. This is so great!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u6211\u60f3\u80cc\u51c8\u884c\u54c1\u592a\u7c21\u55ae\u4e86\u3002\u7576\u6642\u6cd5\u5e2b\u8981\u6c42\u6211\u5011\u80cc\u300a\u695e\u56b4\u7d93\u300b\u3002\u6211\u60f3\u8ddf\u300a\u695e\u56b4\u7d93\u300b\u6bd4\u8d77\u4f86\uff0c\u6de8\u884c\u54c1\u592a\u7c21\u55ae\u4e86\u3002\u6211\u5c31\u898f\u5283\u6bcf\u5929\u80cc\u4e09\u689d\u3002\u5f88\u5feb\u5c31\u80fd\u80cc\u5b8c\u4e86\u3002\u5f8c\u4f86\u80cc\u4e86\u5f88\u4e45\u4e5f\u6c92\u80cc\u51fa\u591a\u5c11\u689d\u3002\u6709\u6642\u5019\u80cc\u4e86\u5169\u5929\uff0c\u7b2c\u4e09\u5929\u5c31\u5fd8\u8a18\u80cc\u4e86\uff0c\u4e00\u500b\u6708\u5f8c\u624d\u60f3\u8d77\u4f86\u6211\u5fd8\u8a18\u80cc\u6de8\u884c\u54c1\u4e86\uff01\u9806\u4fbf\u524d\u97626\u53e5\u4e5f\u5168\u5fd8\u4e7e\u6de8\u4e86\u3002\u6211\u5c31\u89ba\u5f97\u4e00\u5929\u80cc\u4e09\u53e5\u9084\u883b\u56f0\u96e3\u7684\uff0c\u5c31\u6539\u6210\u4e00\u5929\u80cc\u4e00\u53e5\u5427\u3002\u7d50\u679c\u6162\u6162\u53c8\u61c8\u6020\u4e86\u3002\u73fe\u5728\u6574\u657410\u5e74\u904e\u53bb\u4e86\uff0c\u6211\u9084\u662f\u6c92\u6709\u80cc\u5b8c\u6de8\u884c\u54c1\u3002\u4e00\u500b\u9023\u51c8\u884c\u54c1\u90fd\u6c92\u6709\u8fa6\u6cd5\u5805\u6301\u80cc\u51fa\u4f86\u7684\u4eba\uff0c\u4f60\u5011\u89ba\u5f97\u5979\u80fd\u4e00\u5fc3\u5ff5\u4f5b\u55ce\uff1f<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At first, I thought that memorizing the Pure Conduct chapter would be effortlessly easy. That was because at that time the Dharma Master had issued us with the task of memorizing the Shurangama Sutra. The Pure Conduct chapter seemed much easier in comparison. Then I crafted a plan. I planned to memorize three verses each day, and I would finish memorizing the whole chapter very soon. Yet, as the days turned into weeks, I didn\u2019t memorize many verses according to my original plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I found myself forgetting the verses and even neglecting my practice for extended periods of time. It was only after an entire month had passed that I realized I had completely forgotten about the Pure Conduct Chapter. Not only that, but the initial few verses had also eluded my memory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It became a challenge to memorize three verses daily, so I decided to modify my approach. I switched to memorizing only one verse per day. Unfortunately, I became more and more lax once again. It has been ten years now, and I am far from memorizing the Pure Conduct Chapter. Given this, I question whether one who struggles to remember the Pure Conduct Chapter can truly devote herself to reciting the Buddha\u2019s name single-mindedly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u5f9e\u9019\u500b\u5c0f\u4e8b\u4e2d\uff0c\u6211\u89ba\u5f97\u8db3\u4ee5\u770b\u5230\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u5584\u6839\u4e0d\u5920\u3002\u5c31\u5982\u7956\u5e2b\u8b1b\u7684\uff1a\u672b\u6cd5\u773e\u751f<\/em>\uff0c\u795e\u8b58\u98db\u63da<\/em>\uff0c\u5fc3\u7c97\u5883\u7d30<\/em>\u3002\u4ee5\u524d\u521d\u5b78\u4f5b\u7684\u6642\u5019\uff0c\u5c0d\u7956\u5e2b\u7684\u9019\u500b\u8a71\u662f\u4e0d\u670d\u6c23\u3002\u70ba\u4ec0\u9ebc\u9019\u6a23\u8aaa\u6211\u5011\uff1f\u4f46\u662f\u96a8\u8457\u5e74\u9f61\u7684\u589e\u9577\uff0c\u5b78\u4f5b\u5e74\u6578\u7684\u589e\u52a0\uff0c\u518d\u52a0\u4e0a\u5728\u9053\u5834\u5e38\u4f4f\u548c\u51fa\u5bb6\uff0c\u65b9\u65b9\u9762\u9762\u90fd\u6aa2\u9a57\u51fa\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u5584\u6839\uff0c\u78ba\u5be6\u662f\u9019\u6a23\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n This small case made me realize that my own wholesome roots are insufficient. It reminded me of the words of one of the patriarchs, who said that when we are at the end of the Dharma age, all living beings have dynamic minds and also show a coarse mindset. At first, I had doubts about this Master\u2019s statement. I questioned why he would make such claims about us. As time passed and my years of studying Buddhism increased, then I became an Up\u0101sik\u0101 and a monastic. Through examination of myself, I have confirmed that the level of my wholesome roots matches the teachings of the Master.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u70ba\u4ec0\u9ebc\u6211\u8981\u63d0\u9019\u500b\u5462\uff1f\u56e0\u70ba\u5927\u6642\u4ee3\u4e0d\u540c\u4e86\u3002\u96d6\u7136\u4e0a\u4eba\u8aaa\u672b\u6cd5\u6642\u4ee3\u597d\u597d\u4fee\u884c\u4e5f\u662f\u6b63\u6cd5\u6642\u4ee3\u3002\u4f46\u662f\u6211\u96d6\u7136\u53ef\u80fd\u767c\u51fa\u4e00\u500b\u521d\u767c\u5fc3\uff0c\u5ba2\u89c0\u4e0a\u4f86\u8b1b\uff0c\u6211\u7684\u5584\u6839\u7684\u591a\u5be1\uff0c\u540c\u6642\u6703\u5c40\u9650\u5230\u6211\u3002\u96d6\u7136\u6211\u767c\u5fc3\u8981\u4e00\u5fc3\u5ff5\u4f5b\uff0c\u4f46\u6211\u7121\u6cd5\u786c\u751f\u751f\u7684\u53bb\u6a21\u4eff\u53e4\u4eba\u3002\u9084\u662f\u8981\u6b63\u8996\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u5584\u6839\uff0c\u5012\u5e95\u5728\u54ea\u500b\u7a0b\u5ea6\u3002\u6bd4\u5982\u6211\u5fc3\u88e1\u5f88\u6b3d\u4f69\u53e4\u6642\u5019\u6cd5\u5e2b\u7684\u4fee\u884c\uff0c\u5f88\u7fa8\u6155\u90a3\u4e9b\u4e00\u5fc3\u5ff5\u4f5b\u89e3\u812b\u7684\u6cd5\u5e2b\u3002\u6bd4\u5982\u7279\u5225\u7fa8\u6155\u8ae6\u9591\u8001\u6cd5\u5e2b\u7684\u90a3\u500b\u6253\u9435\u5320\u5f92\u5f1f\uff0c\u8ae6\u9591\u8001\u6cd5\u5e2b\u8b93\u4ed6\u7368\u5b88\u5c0f\u5c4b\uff0c\u6bcf\u5929\u6d3e\u4eba\u9001\u98ef\u7d66\u4ed6\uff0c\u4ed6\u5f8c\u4f86\u5c31\u5ff5\u4f5b\u6210\u5c31\u4e86\u3002\u4f46\u6211\u80fd\u5b78\u4ed6\u55ce\uff1f\u6211\u89ba\u5f97\u6211\u5b78\u4e0d\u4f86\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n Why do I bring this up? Because times have changed. Even though the venerable master once said that practicing properly in the Dharma ending age would still be appropriate, objectively speaking, my limited good roots would hold me back even I used to make a Bodhi resolve. While I am determined to follow the teachings of the Buddha, I cannot simply imitate the ancient Dharma Masters. I need to consider my own level of good roots. I find myself admiring for the practices of the ancient masters, those Dharma Masters who liberated themselves from birth and death by reciting Buddha\u2019s name single-mindedly. One example is the Venerable Dixian\u2019s blacksmith disciple, who lived alone in a hut and received food from others every day, eventually he made some achievement on this Dharma Door. Can I learn from him? I doubt it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u5728\u9019\u500b\u672b\u6cd5\u7684\u56e0\u7de3\u5e95\u4e0b\uff0c\u6211\u7684\u9019\u500b\u5584\u6839\uff0c\u5982\u4f55\u624d\u627e\u5230\u4e00\u689d\u9069\u5408\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u4fee\u884c\u7684\u65b9\u6cd5\uff0c\u53bb\u589e\u9577\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u5584\u6839\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n Under the cause and condition of this age, how can I find a method of practice that suits me and to increase my good roots?<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u8a18\u5f97\u53d7\u5b8c\u6bd4\u4e18\u5c3c\u6212\u4ee5\u5f8c\uff0c\u6709\u4eba\u554f\u6211\uff0c\u770b\u5230\u4f60\u5011\u5728\u5edf\u88cf\u9762\u6574\u5929\u5c31\u5728\u6d17\u7897\u3002\u6211\u89ba\u5f97\u662f\u5728\u5edf\u88e1\u4e0d\u8981\u8d77\u9019\u9ebc\u591a\u5206\u5225\u5fc3\u3002\u9019\u6211\u5011\u7684\u4fee\u884c\u4e2d\uff0c\u8eab\u8a9e\u610f\u4e09\u696d\u7f3a\u4e00\u4e0d\u53ef\u2014\u2014\u8eab\u3001\u8a9e\u3001\u610f\u3002\u6700\u91cd\u8981\u7684\u662f\u80fd\u501f\u4e8b\u7df4\u5fc3\uff0c\u5728\u6d17\u7897\u7684\u6642\u5019\u4e0d\u8981\u5fd8\u4e86\u4e03\u8655\u5fb5\u5fc3\uff0c\u6211\u7684\u5fc3\u5728\u54ea\u5152\u3002\u628a\u6211\u5011\u5728\u695e\u56b4\u7d93\u88e1\u5b78\u5230\u7684\u9053\u7406\u904b\u7528\u5230\u6d17\u7897\u7576\u4e2d\u53bb\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n After I received the Bhikshuni precepts, someone told me that all she had seen was we people washing dishes everyday in the temple. I think it\u2019s not necessary to have such discriminating minds when we are in a temple. In our cultivation, the three karmas of body, speech, and mind are all very important and are essential parts of cultivation. The most important thing is, can you keep mindfulness when you are washing dishes? His careful explanation helps us understand the profound qualities of this Dharma and helps me cultivate a sense of joy. Without the Master’s guidance, it would be challenging to fully comprehend the meaning of this chapter, as this chapter may seem very ordinary at first. This brings to mind our recitation books used during morning and evening sessions. If a Dharma Master were to teach a class about the recitation book, many of us would be amazed by the wisdom and depth of this book. Just like Daily Vinaya Essential. Let’s not start with these verses directly. Rather, start with the sutras. In the various pamphlets that we usually have to help us memorize, all of them start with, \u201cAt that time, the Xianshou Bodhisattva inquire Manjushri Bodhisattva.\u201dXianshou means “the Bodhisattva who is the foremost in wisdom, superior in wisdom.\u201d Manjushri Bodhisattva is also known as the head of the four Great Bodhisattvas, the teacher of the seven ancient Buddhas, and he is also the representative of great wisdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Therefore, Then Xianshou Bodhisattva and Manjushri Bodhisattva, the two great Bodhisattvas of all Bodhisattvas, shared their deep wisdom with us, teaching us a Dharma Door that can help purify our body, speech, and mind. For example, in the first verse:<\/p>\n\n\n\n A Bodhisattva of the lay life, Maybe you find yourself wondering, ” Is that all it takes? Is really be that simple? ” It’s almost like chicken soup. Every one of us can make some wish to others. Like May you be well! all your wishes come true<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u6211\u8a18\u5f97\u4e4b\u524d\u6709\u4f4d\u6cd5\u5e2b\u66fe\u5206\u4eab\u904e\uff0c\u5979\u8aaa\u5979\u66fe\u7d93\u767c\u5fc3\u4f86\u5edf\u88e1\u5e38\u4f4f\u7684\u6642\u5019\uff0c\u4e00\u958b\u59cb\u4e5f\u662f\u9047\u5230\u5bb6\u88e1\u4eba\u4e0d\u540c\u610f\u3002\u7136\u5f8c\u6709\u4e00\u500b\u5584\u77e5\u8b58\u6559\u5979\u5ff5\u9019\u500b\u5048\u980c\u767c\u9858\u3002\u5979\u8aaa\u5979\u5c31\u4e00\u76f4\u5728\u5fc3\u88e1\u5ff5\u9019\u500b\u5048\u980c\uff0c\u300c\u83e9\u85a9\u5728\u5bb6\uff0c\u7576\u9858\u773e\u751f\uff0c\u77e5\u5bb6\u6027\u7a7a\uff0c\u514d\u5176\u903c\u8feb\u3002\u300d\u5f8c\u4f86\u5979\u7684\u5bb6\u4eba\u771f\u7684\u540c\u610f\u4e86\u3002\u55ae\u5c31\u9019\u4e00\u689d\u5048\u980c\u4f86\u8aaa\uff0c\u5979\u662f\u9019\u689d\u5048\u980c\u7684\u4e00\u4f4d\u771f\u5be6\u7684\u5be6\u8e10\u8005\u3002\u53ef\u662f\u6211\u5011\u770b\u9019\u500b\u5048\u980c\u7c21\u7c21\u55ae\u55ae\uff0c\u6c92\u6709\u4efb\u4f55\u7279\u5225\u51fa\u5947\u7684\u5730\u65b9\uff0c\u70ba\u4ec0\u9ebc\u9019\u6a23\u6709\u529b\u91cf\u5e6b\u52a9\u6211\u5011\u6383\u9664\u969c\u7919\u5462\uff1f<\/p>\n\n\n\n I remember a story shared by a Dharma Master before that her family initially opposed her monastic practice. Then a good-knowing adviser suggested her keep reciting this verse, and she did so. Her family eventually supported her. So she is a true practitioner of this verse. However, if we look at this verse, which is simple and without any special features, why is it so powerful in helping us to remove obstacles?<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u9019\u88e1\u4e0d\u5f97\u4e0d\u63d0\uff0c\u6de8\u884c\u54c1\u4e2d\u7684\u6bcf\u4e00\u500b\u767c\u9858\uff0c\u8ddf\u6211\u5011\u666e\u901a\u5e73\u5e38\u7684\u795d\u798f\u662f\u4e0d\u4e00\u6a23\u7684\uff1f\u6de8\u884c\u54c1\u662f\u4f86\u81ea\u300a\u5927\u65b9\u5ee3\u4f5b\u83ef\u56b4\u7d93\u300b\uff0c\u300a\u83ef\u56b4\u7d93\u300b\u662f\u83e9\u85a9\u7684\u5883\u754c\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u5e38\u5e38\u8b80\u5230\u83e9\u85a9\u7684\u5404\u7a2e\u4e09\u6627\u5883\u754c\uff0c\u2014\u2014\u767e\u842c\u963f\u50e7\u7947\u4e09\u6627\u5883\u754c\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n I have to mention here that every vow in the Pure Conduce Chapter is different from our ordinary blessings. The Pure Conduct is a chapter from the Avatamsaka Sutra, which describe the Bodhisattva’s state, and we often read about all kinds of Bodhisattva’s samadhi from this sutra. There are millions of a thousand asa\u1e43khyeya of samadhi in front of the Buddha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u90a3\u9019\u5169\u4f4d\u83e9\u85a9\u4e2d\u7684\u5927\u83e9\u85a9\u50b3\u7d66\u6211\u5011\u773e\u751f\u7684\u6cd5\u9580\uff0c\u800c\u662f\u4f86\u81ea\u83e9\u85a9\u7684\u751a\u6df1\u7684\u4e09\u6627\u5883\u754c\u3002\u6240\u4ee5\u6211\u5011\u6301\u8aa6\u5048\u980c\u7684\u6642\u5019\uff0c\u6703\u6536\u5230\u4f86\u81ea\u6587\u6b8a\u5e2b\u5229\u83e9\u85a9\u3001\u83ef\u56b4\u7d93\u5305\u62ec\u83ef\u56b4\u6d77\u6703\u8056\u773e\u83e9\u85a9\u7684\u4e09\u6627\u529b\u7684\u52a0\u6301\u3002\u662f\u6709\u773e\u591a\u5927\u83e9\u85a9\u7684\u4e09\u6627\u529b\u5e6b\u52a9\u6211\u5011\u3002\u6211\u60f3\u602a\u4e0d\u5f97\u70ba\u4ec0\u9ebc\u6211\u6703\u8d8a\u4f86\u8d8a\u559c\u6b61\u4e94\u5341\u4e09\u5c0f\u5492\uff0c\u53cd\u5fa9\u4e0a\u9019\u500b\u8ab2\u5f8c\uff0c\u70ba\u4ec0\u9ebc\u6703\u89ba\u5f97\u6e05\u6dbc\u6cd5\u559c\u5462\uff1f\u539f\u4f86\u9019\u500b\u8ddf\u5ff5\u4f5b\u6301\u5492\u662f\u4e00\u500b\u539f\u7406\uff0c\u90fd\u662f\u5728\u548c\u4f5b\u83e9\u85a9\u7684\u6cd5\u754c\u76f8\u61c9\uff0c\u80fd\u5f97\u5230\u4f5b\u7684\u529f\u5fb7\u667a\u6167\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u6703\u8d8a\u4f86\u8d8a\u6cd5\u559c\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n The profound state of samadhi of the Bodhisattvas is the source of the Dharma door transmitted to us.
