\u8af8\u4f5b\u83e9\u85a9\u3001\u5e2b\u7236\u4e0a\u4eba\uff0c\u5404\u4f4d\u6cd5\u5e2b\uff0c\u5404\u4f4d\u4f5b\u53cb\uff0c\u4eca\u665a\u662f\u6052\u6559\u5728\u9019\u7d50\u6cd5\u7de3\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Venerable Master, Dharma Masters and all dharma friends, today is Heng Jiao\u2019s turn to tie Dharma affinities with everyone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u5148\u8b1b\u842c\u4f5b\u57ce\u7684\u7de3\u8d77\uff0c\u4e0a\u4eba\u8aaa\u5f88\u65e9\u4ee5\u524d\uff0c\u842c\u4f5b\u57ce\u5c31\u6709\u4f5b\u83e9\u85a9\u4f86\u5230\u9019\u88e1\u4fee\u884c\u4e86\u3002\u6240\u4ee5\u6210\u7acb\u842c\u4f5b\u57ce\u9019\u500b\u56e0\u7de3\uff0c\u53ef\u4ee5\u8aaa\u5728\u7121\u91cf\u52ab\u4ee5\u4f86\u5c31\u6ce8\u5b9a\u7684\u4e86\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n

The Venerable Master said that long ago, even before the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas (CTTB) was established, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas had already come to this place to cultivate. Thus, the conditions for establishing the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas were destined countless kalpas ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u4e0a\u4eba\u4e5f\u63d0\u5230\u842c\u4f5b\u57ce\u4e0d\u662f\u53ea\u6709\u9020\u4e00\u842c\u5c0a\u4f5b\u5c31\u53eb\u842c\u4f5b\u57ce\uff1b\u4e00\u5c0a\u4f5b\u4e5f\u53eb\u842c\u4f5b\u57ce\uff0c\u4e00\u842c\u5c0a\u4f5b\u4e5f\u53eb\u842c\u4f5b\u57ce\uff0c\u842c\u842c\u5c0a\u4f5b\u9084\u662f\u53eb\u842c\u4f5b\u57ce\u3002\u9019\u842c\u842c\uff0c\u4e5f\u50cf\u300a\u83ef\u56b4\u7d93\u300b<\/strong>\ud855\ude83<\/strong>\u5f62\u5bb9\u7684\u300c\u91cd\u91cd\u7121\u76e1\u300d\u3001\u300c\u7121\u7aae\u7121\u76e1\u300d\u7684\u610f\u601d\uff0c\u9019\u90fd\u53eb\u842c\u4f5b\u57ce\uff1b\u8ab0\u4f86\u5230\u842c\u4f5b\u57ce\u4e86\uff0c\u8ab0\u5c31\u6709\u4efd\u6210\u4f5b\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Venerable Master also mentioned that the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas is not merely named because of the ten thousand Buddha statues. One Buddha is enough to call it the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas; ten thousand Buddhas also make it the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas; even ten million Buddhas\u2014it\u2019s still the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas. \u201cTen thousand\u201d here carries the profound meaning described in the Avatamsaka Sutra<\/em>: \u201clayer upon layer without end,\u201d and \u201cinfinite and boundless.\u201d Anyone who comes to the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas has a share of attaining Buddhahood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u73fe\u5728\u8b1b\u6211\u5011\u5728\u6cd5\u6703\u4e2d\u79ae\u62dc\u7684\u300a\u4f5b\u8aaa\u4f5b\u540d\u7d93\u300b\u7684\u7de3\u8d77\uff0c\u4e43\u662f\u5143\u9b4f\u5317\u5929\u7afa\u4e09\u85cf\u6cd5\u5e2b\u83e9\u63d0\u7559\u652f\u6240\u7ffb\u8b6f\u7684\u3002\u9019\u90e8\u7d93\u548c\u300a\u4f5b\u8aaa\u963f\u5f4c\u9640\u7d93\u300b\u4e00\u6a23\uff0c\u662f\u4f5b\u5728\u7947\u6a39\u7d66\u5b64\u7368\u5712\u300c\u7121\u554f\u81ea\u8aaa\u300d\u7684\u3002 \u4e5f\u56e0\u70ba\u6c92\u6709\u4eba\u61c2\u5982\u4f55\u53d7\u6301\u548c\u79ae\u4f5b\u7684\u529f\u5fb7\u56e0\u7de3\uff0c \u6240\u4ee5\u5728\u5377\u4e00\u4e2d\u63d0\u5230\u4f5b\u8aaa \u300c\u904e\u53bb\u3001\u73fe\u5728\u3001\u672a\u4f86\u8af8\u4f5b\u540d\u5b57\u3002\u82e5\u5584\u7537\u5b50\u3001\u5584\u5973\u4eba\u53d7\u6301\u8b80\u8aa6\u8af8\u4f5b\u540d\u8005\uff0c\u662f\u4eba\u73fe\u4e16\u5b89\u7a69\uff0c\u9060\u96e2\u8af8\u96e3\uff0c\u53ca\u6d88\u6ec5\u8af8\u7f6a\uff0c\u672a\u4f86\u7576\u5f97\u963f\u8028\u591a\u7f85\u4e09\u85d0\u4e09\u83e9\u63d0\u3002\u300d\u5c31\u662f\u62dc\u842c\u4f5b\u61fa\u4e5f\u662f\u4e00\u7a2e\u9032\u968e\u7684\u4fee\u6301\uff0c\u6db5\u62ec\u73fe\u5728\u4e16\u7684\u5b89\u7a69\u3001\u89e3\u812b\u904e\u53bb\u4e16\u6240\u7d50\u7684\u60e1\u696d\uff0c\u53ca\u5713\u6eff\u672a\u4f86\u4e16\u7684\u4f5b\u679c\u3002\u300a\u4f5b\u8aaa\u4f5b\u540d\u7d93\u300b\u4e2d\uff0c\u5171\u8a08\u4f5b\u83e9\u85a9\u53ca\u8f9f\u652f\u4f5b\u540d\uff0c\u4e00\u842c\u4e00\u5343\u4e5d\u5341\u4e09<\/strong>\u5c0a\u3002\u7d93\u4e0a\u8aaa\u4e00\u842c\u4e00\u5343<\/strong>\u4e00\u767e\u5c0a<\/strong>\u4f5b\u540d\uff0c\u662f\u53d6\u5176\u6574\u6578<\/strong>\u3002<\/strong>\u4f5b\u540d\u7d93\u5178\u7684\u6d41\u50b3\u958b\u59cb\u662f\u5f9e\u6649\u4ee3\u3001<\/strong>\u6cbf\u7e8c\u5230\u5357<\/strong>\u5317<\/strong>\u671d\u672b\u3001\u800c\u76db\u884c\u65bc\u968b\u5510\u3002<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Now, regarding the origin of the Sutra of the Buddha Proclaiming the Names of Buddhas, that we chant during the bowing session: this sutra was translated by Tripitaka Master Bodhiruci of the Northern Wei Dynasty, who came from North India. Just like the Amitabha Sutra, this was spoken by the Buddha at Jeta Grove in the Garden of the Benefactor of Orphans and the Solitary without being requested. Because people at the time didn\u2019t yet understand how to uphold the Dharma or the merit and virtue, which arises from bowing to the Buddhas, the first scroll of the sutra states: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“If good men and women uphold, recite, and read the names of these past, present and future Buddhas, they will gain peace and joy in the present life, avoid disasters, eliminate offenses, and in the future, attain Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi (unsurpassed perfect enlightenment).” Thus, bowing to the Ten Thousand Buddhas is an advanced form of cultivation. It brings peace in this life, eradicates past karmic offenses, and includes future attainment of Buddhahood. The sutra lists a total of 11,093 names of Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Pratyekabuddhas. The sutra mentions eleven thousand one hundred buddha-names <\/strong>as arounded figure.<\/strong> <\/strong>It began circulating during the Jin Dynasty,continued through the end of the Northern and Southern Dynasties, and became popular in the Sui and Tang Dynasties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u300a\u842c\u4f5b\u5bf6\u61fa\u300b\u4f55\u6642\u51fa\u73fe\uff0c\u8aaa\u6cd5\u4e0d\u4e00\u3002\u6709\u4e00\u6d3e\u7684\u8aaa\u6cd5\u662f\uff1a<\/strong>\u548c\u83e9\u63d0\u7559\u652f\u540c\u671f\u7684\u8b6f\u7d93\u5e2b\u9084\u6709\u4e00\u4f4d\u662f\u4e2d\u5370\u5ea6\u52d2\u90a3\u6469\u63d0\u5c0a\u8005\uff0c\u52d2\u90a3\u6469\u63d0\uff08\u68b5\u8a9e\uff1a<\/strong>Ratnamati<\/strong>\uff09\uff0c\u610f\u70ba\u300c<\/strong>\u5bf6\u610f<\/strong>\u300d<\/strong>\u3002\u4ed6\u770b\u898b\u4f5b\u6559\u6700\u521d\u50b3\u5230\u4e2d\u570b\uff0c\u5c0d\u4f5b\u300c\u656c\u800c\u4e0d\u79ae\u300d\uff0c\u5fc3\u88cf\u96d6\u7136\u4fe1\u4f5b\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\u4e0d\u62dc\u4f5b\u3002\u4e0d\u62dc\u4f5b\u7684\u539f\u56e0\uff0c\u4e5f\u5c31\u56e0\u70ba\u5f9e\u4f86\u4e5f\u6c92\u6709\u62dc\u904e\uff0c\u66f4\u4e0d\u61c2\u5f97\u62dc\u4f5b\u7684\u597d\u8655\u3002\u65bc\u662f\u4e4e\u4ed6\u5c31\u5230\u4e2d\u570b\u7acb\u4e86\u4e03\u7a2e\u7684\u79ae\u6cd5\uff0c\u4f86\u6559\u5316\u4e2d\u570b\u4eba\u62dc\u4f5b\u3002\u9019\u6a23\u628a\u300a\u4f5b\u540d\u7d93\u300b\u8af8\u4f5b\u540d\u5b57\u7de8\u8f2f\u8d77\u4f86\u800c\u9032<\/strong>\u884c<\/strong>\u4e00\u8aa6\u4e00<\/strong>\u79ae<\/strong>\u62dc\u3002\u662f\u6545\u53c8\u540d\u300a\u842c\u4f5b\u6d2a\u540d\u5bf6\u61fa\u300b\u3002<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are varying accounts regarding the origin of The Ten Thousand Buddhas Repentance<\/em>. One tradition attributes its compilation to Venerable Ratnamati (Sanskrit: “Jewel-Mind”), a Central Indian monk and translator who was a contemporary of Bodhiruci. When he saw that although Buddhism had spread to China, people only respected the Buddha without physically bowing to the Buddha, he realized that people believed in the Buddha but didn\u2019t know how to express it through worship. So, he introduced seven styles of bowing to teach the Chinese how to properly worship the Buddha. Thus, the Sutra of the Buddha Proclaiming the Names of Buddhas<\/em> compiled all the Buddha names together, integrating chanting and bowing\u2014one chant, one bow. Hence, it is also called the Great Repentance with the Vast Names of the Ten Thousand Buddhas.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u4e0a\u4eba\u8aaa\u62dc\u4e00\u4f5b\uff0c\u4e5f\u5c31\u62dc\u842c\u4f5b\u3002\u6211\u5011\u62dc\u4e00\u4f4d\u4f5b\u5c31\u662f\u62dc\u6cd5\u754c\u4f5b\uff0c\u62dc\u6cd5\u754c\u4f5b\u4e5f\u5c31\u662f\u62dc\u4e00\u4f4d\u4f5b\u3002\u56e0\u70ba\u904e\u53bb\u3001\u73fe\u5728\u3001\u672a\u4f86\u3001\u5341\u65b9\u4e09\u4e16\u4f5b\uff0c\u662f\u540c\u5171\u4e00\u6cd5\u8eab\uff0c\u6240\u8b02\u300c\u4f5b\u4f5b\u9053\u540c\u300d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u8981\u5c08\u4e00\u5176\u5fc3\u4f86\u89c0\u60f3\u62dc\u4f5b\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u8aaa\u62dc\u4e00\u4f5b\u4e5f\u5c31\u662f\u62dc\u842c\u4f5b\u3002\u6240\u4ee5\u4e0a\u4eba\u8aaa\uff0c\u904e\u53bb\u8af8\u4f5b\u4e5f\u662f\u62dc\u3008\u842c\u4f5b\u61fa\u3009\uff0c\u73fe\u5728\u8af8\u4f5b\u9084\u662f\u62dc\u3008\u842c\u4f5b\u61fa\u3009\uff0c\u672a\u4f86\u8af8\u4f5b\u4e5f\u90fd\u662f\u62dc\u3008\u842c\u4f5b\u61fa\u3009\u800c\u6210\u5c31\u7684\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Venerable Master said, \u201cTo bow to one Buddha is to bow to all Buddhas.\u201d When we bow to one Buddha, we are bowing to all Buddhas of the Dharma Realm. The Buddhas of the past, present, and future are all one in essence\u2014the One Dharma Body. \u201cAll Buddhas walk the same path.\u201d Therefore, by wholeheartedly contemplating and bowing to one Buddha, we are bowing to the Buddhas of all times and directions. The Master said that Buddhas of the past also bowed to the Ten Thousand Buddhas Repentance, and so do Buddhas of the present and future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u5728\u300a<\/strong>\u6cd5\u83ef\u7d93<\/strong>\u300b\u4e0a\u6709\u4f4d\u5e38\u4e0d\u8f15\u83e9\u85a9\uff0c\u5e38\u4e0d\u8f15\u83e9\u85a9\u5f9e\u56e0\u5730\u505a\u6bd4\u4e18\u6642\uff0c\u76e1\u5176\u4e00\u751f\uff0c\u90fd\u606d\u656c\u8457\u56db\u773e\u5f1f\u5b50\uff0c\u4e26\u4e14\u6df1\u4fe1\u4ed6\u5011\u7686\u5177\u4f5b\u6027\u800c\u4e0d\u6562\u6709\u6240\u8f15\u8996\u3002\u5728\u300a\u6cd5\u83ef\u7d93<\/strong> \u2022<\/strong>\u5e38\u4e0d\u8f15\u83e9\u85a9<\/strong>\u54c1<\/strong>\u300b<\/strong>\u4e2d \u8aaa \uff1a \u300c \u662f\u6bd4\u4e18\uff0c\u4e0d\u5c08\u8b80\u8aa6\u7d93\u5178\uff0c\u4f46\u884c\u79ae\u62dc\uff0c\u4e43\u81f3\u9060\u898b\u56db\u773e\uff0c\u4ea6\u5fa9\u6545\u5f80\u79ae\u62dc\u8b9a\u6b4e\u3002\u300d\u61a8\u5c71\u5927\u5e2b\u5728 \u300a\u6cd5\u83ef\u7d93\u901a\u7fa9 \u300b\u4e2d\u5247\u89e3\u91cb<\/strong>\u9053<\/strong> <\/strong>\uff1a\u300c\u6b64\u8a00\u300e\u4e0d\u5c08\u8b80\u8aa6\u7d93\u5178\uff0c\u4f46\u884c\u79ae\u62dc\u300f\u8005\uff0c<\/strong>\u4ee5\u7d93\u4e43\u8a6e\u986f\u5982\u4f86\u6cd5\u8eab\u4f5b\u6027\u7a2e\u5b50\u4e4b\u5177\u4e5f\u3002\u4eca\u89c0\u4f5b\u6027\u666e\u89c0\u56db\u773e\uff0c\u5247\u6cd5\u8eab\u5fa7\u5728\u5927\u773e\u8eab\u4e2d\uff0c\u65af\u5247\u771f\u7d93\u5728\u4eba\uff0c\u800c\u4e0d\u5728\u7d19\u58a8<\/strong>\u6587\u5b57<\/strong>\uff0c\u5373\u6b64\u4fbf\u70ba\u771f\u6301\u7d93\u77e3\uff01\u300d<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Lotus Sutra<\/em>, Bodhisattva Never Disparaging is described as someone who, during his practice as a monk, showed utmost respect to the fourfold assembly (monks, nuns, laymen, laywomen) and firmly believed they all possessed the Buddha-nature. He never dared look down on anyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I Never Disparaging Bodhisattva, it says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This monk did not focus on reciting scriptures, but constantly bowed in reverence. Even when seeing the assembly from afar, he would approach and bow with praise.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Master Hanshan explained:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The phrase ‘did not focus on reciting scriptures but practiced bowing’ means that scriptures are a means to reveal the Tathagata\u2019s Dharma-body and Buddha-nature seeds. Now, by seeing Buddha-nature universally in the assembly, the Dharma-body is present within all beings. Thus, the true sutra lies not in ink and paper, but within people. This is truly upholding of the Sutra!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u53e6\u5916\uff0c<\/strong>\u8fd1<\/strong>\u4ee3\u9ad8\u50e7\u865b\u96f2\u8001\u548c\u5c1a\u4ee5\u516b\u5730\u83e9\u85a9\u7684\u518d\u4f86\u4eba\uff0c\u5728\u4eca\u4e16\u958b\u609f\u4ee5\u524d\u4e5f\u662f\u79ae\u62dc<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u3008\u842c\u4f5b\u61fa\u3009\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In modern times, Venerable Master Hsu Yun, considered a return of an Eighth Ground Bodhisattva, also practiced the Ten Thousand Buddhas Repentance before attaining enlightenment in this life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u5927\u5bb6\u90fd\u807d\u904e\u4e0a\u4eba\u5e74\u8f15\u6642\u671f\u5c31\u958b\u59cb\u5929\u5929\u79ae\u62dc\uff0c\u4e0a\u4eba\u4e0d\u50c5\u62dc\u842c\u4f5b\uff0c\u4e43\u81f3\u5411\u4e00\u5207\u773e\u751f\u79ae\u62dc\u3002\u70ba\u4ec0\u9ebc\u8981\u5411\u4e00\u5207\u773e\u751f\u79ae\u62dc\uff1f \u56e0\u70ba\u773e\u751f\u662f\u672a\u6210\u4e4b\u4f5b\uff0c\u800c\u8af8\u4f5b\u662f\u5df2\u6210\u4e4b\u4f5b\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s well known that the Venerable Master began bowing daily from a young age\u2014not only to the Buddhas but also to all sentient beings. Why bow to all beings? Because sentient beings are Buddhas-to-be, while Buddhas are beings who have already attained Buddhahood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u4e0a\u4eba\u6700\u521d\u662f\u7d66\u5929\u3001\u5730\u3001\u541b\u3001\u89aa\u3001\u5e2b\u53e9\u982d\u3002\u5f8c\u4f86\u53c8\u5411\u4e16\u754c\u4e0a\u7684\u8056\u4eba\uff0c\u8ce2\u4eba\u3001\u4f5b\uff0c\u83e9\u85a9\u3001\u8072\u805e\u3001\u7de3\u89ba\u53e9\u982d\u3002\u4ee5\u5f8c\u53c8\u5411\u4e16\u754c\u4e0a\u7684\u597d\u4eba\u3001\u5584\u4eba\u53e9\u982d\uff0c\u56e0\u70ba\u4ed6\u5011\u80fd\u884c\u5584\u5e6b\u52a9\u7aae\u4eba\u3002\u4ee5\u5f8c\uff0c\u53c8\u4ee3\u8868\u9019\u4e9b\u4e0d\u5b5d\u9806\u7236\u6bcd\u7684\u4eba\u3001\u60e1\u4eba\u3001\u4e43\u4e3b\u7f6a\u4eba\u7d66\u4f5b\u53e9\u982d\uff0c\u5e0c\u671b\u4ed6\u5011\u7684\u7f6a\u696d\u80fd\u5920\u6e1b\u8f15\uff0c\u4e26\u4ee4\u4ed6\u5011\u6539\u60e1\u5411\u5584\uff0c<\/strong>\u6240\u4ee5\u66ff\u6240\u6709\u9019\u4e00\u5207\u4eba\u4f86\u62dc\u4f5b\u3002\u5c31\u5982\u540c\u9053\u751f\u6cd5\u5e2b\u8aaa\uff1a\u4e00\u95e1\u63d0\u4e4b\u4eba\uff0c\u4e5f\u80fd\u6210\u4f5b\uff0c\u56e0\u70ba\u4e00\u95e1\u63d0\u4e4b\u4eba\u4e5f\u662f\u773e\u751f\uff0c\u53ea\u8981\u8aa0\u5fc3\u61fa\u6094\u6539\u904e<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\uff0c\u7576\u7136\u53ef\u4ee5\u6210\u4f5b\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At first, the Master bowed to Heaven, Earth, Sovereign, Parents, and Teachers. Later, he bowed to the sages, worthies, Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, \u015ar\u0101vakas, and Pratyekabuddhas. He even bowed to all good and kind-hearted people in the world. Eventually, he also bowed on behalf of those who were unfilial, evil, or criminal, praying that their karmic offenses could be reduced and that they might turn from evil to good. Just as Master Daosheng said: Even icchantikas can attain Buddhahood, because icchantikas are also sentient beings. As long as they sincerely repent and reform, they can naturally become Buddhas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u6709\u4eba\u554f\u62dc\u4f5b\u662f\u4e0d\u662f\u8ff7\u4fe1\uff1f<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some ask if bowing to Buddhas is superstition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u76ee\u524d\u7684\u79d1\u5b78\u754c\u9084\u4e0d\u80fd\u8b49\u660e\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u628a\u4e0d\u80fd\u89e3\u91cb\u7684\u4e8b\uff0c\u653e\u5728\u300c\u975e\u81ea\u7136\u300d\u73fe\u8c61\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scientists call verifiable phenomena \u201cnatural,\u201d and those that can\u2019t be proven \u201csupernatural.\u201d But in truth, all so-called \u201csupernatural\u201d phenomena are still part of nature\u2014scientists have not been able to explain it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u4e2d\u570b\u4eba\u8aaa\u5929\u5916\u6709\u5929\u505a\u4e00\u500b\u8b6c\u55bb\u3002<\/strong>\u5c31\u597d\u50cf\u6211\u5011\u5728\u4eba\u6cd5\u754c\uff0c\u4e5f\u53ea\u662f\u5341\u6cd5\u754c\u7684\u4e00\u500b\u7a7a\u9593\u3002\u4ee5\u524d\u79d1\u5b78\u5bb6\u7121\u6cd5\u8b49\u660e\u6709\u5916\u592a\u7a7a\uff0c\u73fe\u5728\u4e0d\u4f46\u505a\u5230\uff0c\u9084\u60f3\u53bb\u5225\u7684\u661f\u7403\u89c0\u5149\u548c\u79fb\u6c11<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u3002\u6240\u4ee5\u5176\u5be6\u6574\u500b\u592a\u7a7a\u90fd\u662f\u6cd5\u754c\u7684\u4e00\u90e8<\/strong>\u4efd\u3002\u4f5b\u65e9\u5728\u5e7e\u5343\u5e74\u524d\u5c31\u8b1b\u8aaa\u300a\u83ef\u56b4\u7d93\u300b\uff0c<\/strong><\/s><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u6558\u8ff0\u4e09\u5343\u5927\u5343\u4e16\u754c\u7684\u5883\u754c\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

 For example, ancient Chinese wisdom said \u201cthere are heavens beyond this heaven,\u201d hinting at other realms. At one time, science couldn\u2019t even confirm outer space existed. Now, we not only explore it, but aim to travel and settle on other planets. All of space is part of the Dharma Realm. Thousands of years ago, the Buddha already described the Three Thousand Great Thousand Worlds in the Avatamsaka Sutra<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u524d\u9762\u63d0\u5230\u4f5b\u6559\u8b1b\u4eba\u4eba\u7686\u53ef\u4ee5\u6210\u4f5b\uff0c\u800c\u4e14\u4e0d\u4f46\u4eba\u4eba\u53ef\u4ee5\u6210\u4f5b\uff0c\u842c\u7269\u4e5f\u7686\u6709\u4f5b\u6027\uff0c\u5c31\u662f\u4e00\u5207\u98db\u3001\u6f5b\u3001\u52d5\u3001\u690d\u7684\u773e\u751f\u4e5f\u90fd\u53ef\u4ee5\u6210\u4f5b\u3002\u5929\u4e0a\u98db\u7684\uff0c\u6c34\u88cf\u6f5b\u85cf\u7684\uff0c\u9019\u4e00\u5207\u7684\u52d5\u7269\u3001\u690d\u7269\u3001\u6a39\u6728\u82b1\u8349\u3001\u80ce\u5375\u6fd5\u5316\u56db\u751f\u5341\u4e8c\u985e\u7684\u773e\u751f\uff0c\u4e5f\u90fd\u53ef\u4ee5\u6210\u4f5b\u7684\u3002\u53ea\u662f\u4e0d\u77e5\u9053\u8981\u591a\u4e45\u7684\u6642\u9593.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Buddhism teaches that not only can all people become Buddhas, but so can all living beings\u2014those that fly, swim, walk, or grow. Birds in the sky, creatures in water, animals, plants, trees, flowers, grass\u2014all twelve categories of living beings born from womb, egg, moisture, and transformation\u2014can become Buddhas. The time may be long, but the potential is there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u70ba\u4ec0\u9ebc\u8aaa\u4eba\u4eba\u7686\u6709\u4f5b\u6027\u3001\u56e0\u70ba\u4f5b\u6027\u662f\u5e38\u4f4f\u4e0d\u6ec5\u3002<\/strong>\u56e0\u70ba\u4e00\u5ff5\u7684\u7121\u660e\uff0c\u7522\u751f\u7a2e\u7a2e\u300c\u4e8b\u76f8\u300d\uff0c\u7121\u8ad6\u7d30\u6216\u9ea4\uff0c\u672c\u8cea\u4e0a\u90fd\u662f\u300c\u865b\u5984\u4e0d\u5be6\u300d\uff0c\u4e26\u975e\u771f\u5be6\u5b58\u5728\uff0c\u53ea\u662f\u56e0\u7121\u660e\u800c\u8d77<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u7684\u5047\u76f8\u3002\u597d\u6bd4\u8aaa\uff0c\u6709\u4eba\u7f75\u6211\u5011\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u5c31\u8d77\u7169\u60f1\uff0c\u6709\u4eba\u8b9a\u5606\u6211\u5011\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u5c31\u8d77\u6b61\u559c\u5fc3\u3002\u57fa\u672c\u4e0a\u3002\u6211\u5011\u7684\u6b61\u559c\u548c\u7169\u60f1\u662f\u96a8\u5916\u5728\u7684\u56e0\u7de3\u800c\u8d77\u6ec5\u7684\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why? Because all beings have Buddha-nature, which is eternal and indestructible. It is ignorance that causes the illusion of phenomena. Everything we experience is fundamentally false and does not truly exist\u2014arising merely due to ignorance. For example, if someone scolds us, we get upset; if someone praises us, we\u2019re joyful. Our emotions arise and fall based on external conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u300c\u552f\u8b58\u5b78\u300d\u5c31\u63d0\u4e00\u5207\u842c\u6cd5\u552f\u5fc3\u6240\u73fe\u3001\u552f\u8b58\u6240\u8b8a\uff0c\u4e5f\u5c31\u662f\u8aaa\uff0c\u5b87\u5b99\u842c\u8c61\u4e26\u975e\u7368\u7acb\u5be6\u6709\uff0c\u800c\u662f\u7531\u300c\u8b58\u300d\u2014\u7279\u5225\u300c\u963f\u8cf4\u8036\u8b58\u300d\u2014<\/strong>\u6240\u751f\u8d77\u8207\u8b8a\u73fe\u7684\u3002\u4e5f\u5c31\u662f\u300c\u5148\u4f86\u5f8c\u53bb\u300d\u7684\u7b2c\u516b\u8b58\uff1a<\/strong>\u842c\u6cd5\u7684\u6839\u672c\u7a2e\u5b50\u8b58\uff0c\u5132\u85cf\u4e00\u5207\u5584\u60e1\u696d\u7a2e\uff0c\u662f\u751f\u547d\u8f2a\u8ff4\u7684\u6839\u6e90\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Yog\u0101c\u0101ra school teaches that all phenomena arise from the mind\u2014\u201ceverything is manifested by consciousness.\u201d Specifically, from the \u0101laya (storehouse consciousness, the eighth consciousness), which contains the seeds of all karma. This consciousness gives rise to everything and is the source of samsara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u5728<\/strong>\u300a<\/strong>\u695e\u56b4\u7d93<\/strong>\u300b<\/strong>\u4e0a\u63d0\u5230\u5341\u4e8c\u985e\u773e\u751f<\/strong>\ud855\ude83<\/strong>\u7684\u7121\u60f3\u985e\u751f\uff1a <\/strong>\u300c<\/strong>\u7531\u56e0\u4e16\u754c\u611a\u920d\u8f2a\u8ff4\uff0c\u7661\u985b\u5012\u6545\uff0c\u548c\u5408\u9811\u6210\u516b\u842c\u56db\u5343\u67af\u69c1\u4e82\u60f3\u3002\u5982\u662f\u6545\u6709\u7121\u60f3\u7faf\u5357\uff0c\u6d41\u8f49\u570b\u571f\uff0c\u7cbe\u795e\u5316\u70ba\u571f\u6728\u91d1\u77f3\uff0c\u5176\u985e\u5145\u585e\u3002<\/strong>\u300d<\/strong>\u70ba\u751a\u9ebc\u5462?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the \u015a\u016bra\u1e45gama S\u016btra<\/em>, it\u2019s said that among the twelve categories of beings: \u201cThrough a continual process of dullness and slowness, the upside-down state of stupidity occurs in this world. It unites with obstinacy to become eighty-four thousand kinds of random thoughts that are dry and attenuated. From this there come into being the ghanas of those without thought, which multiply throughout the lands as their essence and spirit change into earth, wood, metal, or stone, until their kinds abound.\u201d These kinds of beings are also found everywhere. Why?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 \u5728\u9999\u6e2f\u6709\u4e00\u5ea7\u671b\u592b\u5c71\u3002<\/strong>\u64da\u8aaa\u6709\u4e00\u500b\u5973\u4eba\uff0c\u5979\u7684\u4e08\u592b\u53bb\u7576\u5175\uff0c\u7e3d\u4e5f\u4e0d\u56de\u4f86\uff0c\u5979\u5c31\u6bcf\u4e00\u5929\u90fd<\/strong>\u63f9<\/strong>\u8457\u5979\u7684\u5b69\u5b50\uff0c\u5230\u90a3\u5ea7\u5c71\u4e0a\u53bb\u671b\u3002\u4e45\u800c\u4e45\u4e4b\uff0c\u5979\u9019\u7a2e\u7cbe\u9748\u6240\u611f\uff0c\u6240\u8b02\u7684\u300c\u7cbe<\/strong>\u8aa0\u6240\u611f\uff0c\u91d1\u77f3\u70ba\u958b\u300d\uff0c\u9019\u500b\u5973\u4eba\u5c31\u8b8a\u4e00\u584a\u77f3\u982d\uff0c\u90a3\u584a\u77f3\u982d\u5c31\u50cf\u4e00\u500b\u5973\u4eba<\/strong>\u63f9<\/strong>\u8457\u500b\u5c0f\u5b69\u5b50\u5728\u90a3\u5152\u671b\u8457\u3002\u9019\u7a2e\u7cbe\u795e\u5316\u70ba\u571f\u3001\u6728\u3001\u91d1\u3001\u77f3\u7684\u60c5\u5f62\uff0c\u662f\u5f88\u96e3\u7f6e\u4fe1\u7684\uff0c\u9019\u7a2e\u60c5\u5f62\u9084\u7684\u78ba\u662f\u6709\u7684\uff0c\u4f46\u79d1\u5b78\u5c1a\u7121\u6cd5\u8b49\u660e\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Hong Kong there is a place called Wang Fu mountain. The story goes that a woman\u2019s husband was enlisted in the navy and never returned to her. But every day she would go stand on this mountain and gaze out to sea. Every day she would stand there gazing and holding her child, until eventually her thought became so attenuated that her essence underwent a transformation, and she turned to stone. To this day, you can see the rock shaped like the woman with the child on her back. It is not at all easy to convince people that one\u2019s spirit and essence can turn into earth, wood, metal, or stone, but in fact it can. It really does happen, but the scientists still cannot validate it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u9084\u6709\u4eba\u7684\u7cbe\u795e\uff0c\u53ef\u4ee5\u8b8a\u7a2e\u7a2e\u7684\u6771\u897f\u3002\u8b6c\u5982\u6709\u4eba\u706b\u6c23\u5927\uff0c\u706b\u6027\u5927\u5230\u6975\u9ede\uff0c\u5c31\u6703\u8b8a\u6210\u50cf\u5728\u7164\u7926\u88cf\u6316\u51fa\u7684\u7164\uff0c\u5c31\u5316\u6210\u7164\u70ad\u4e86\u3002\u6240\u4ee5\u90a3\u7164\u70ad\uff0c\u4f60\u7528\u706b\u4e00\u9ede\uff0c\u5b83\u5f88\u5feb\u5c31\u8457\u706b\u7684\uff0c\u9019\u90fd\u662f\u7531\u4eba\u7684\u7cbe\u795e\u6240\u5316\u6210\u7684\u3002\u9084\u6709\uff0c\u91d1\u3001\u6728\u3001\u6c34\u3001\u706b\u3001\u571f\u9019\u4e94\u7a2e\uff0c\u4f60\u9019\u500b\u4eba\u548c\u54ea\u4e00\u985e\u592a\u76f8\u8fd1\uff0c\u5c31\u6703\u8b8a\u6210\u9019\u7a2e\u6771\u897f\u3002\u9019\u4e5f\u662f\u56e0\u70ba\u4e00\u7a2e\u57f7\u8457\u548c\u4e00\u7a2e\u67af\u69c1\u7684\u4e82\u60f3\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s also said that the human spirit can transform into different elements. For instance, someone with excessive anger and fire energy could, over time, become coal\u2014hence coal\u2019s combustibility. People are composed of metal, wood, water, fire, and earth, and if they remain in constant contact with any one element and become too much involved with it, they can turn into that very element. It happens because of attachment and attenuated thoughts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u5728\u552f\u8b58\u5b78\uff0c\u7b2c\u4e03\u8b58\uff08\u672b\u90a3\u8b58\uff09\u5c31\u662f\u6301\u57f7\u300c\u6211\u300d\u7684\u6839\u672c\u610f\u8b58\uff0c\u662f\u6211\u57f7\u7684\u4f86\u6e90\u3002<\/strong>\u4e5f\u662f\u4e00\u7a2e\u6df1\u5c64\u7684\u300c\u6211\u57f7\u300d\u3001\u300c\u6211\u898b\u300d\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Yog\u0101c\u0101ra, the seventh consciousness (manas) is the root of ego-clinging, the source of the \u201cI\u201d concept.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u6240\u4ee5\u62dc\u4f5b\uff0c\u4e5f\u662f\u4e00\u7a2e\u53bb\u9664\u300c\u6211\u57f7\u300d\u7684\u65b9\u6cd5\u3002\u4e00\u8aa6\u4e00\u79ae\u62dc\u7684\u79ae\u6cd5\uff0c\u8aa6\u6301\uff0c\u662f\u900f\u904e\u8eab\u3001<\/strong>\u53e3\u3001\u610f\u4f86\u6587\u5b57\u4f86\u4fee\u6301<\/strong>\uff0c\u56e0\u70ba\u4f5b\u7684\u529f\u5fb7\u542b\u651d\u4e00\u5207\u4e16\u51fa\u4e16\u9593\u7684\u5584\u6cd5\uff0c\u800c\u5584\u7528\u8a9e\u8a00\u6587\u5b57<\/strong>\u4f86\u7a31\u63da\u8b9a\u6b4e\u4f5b\u7684\u6d2a\u540d\u53ca\u529f\u5fb7<\/strong>\uff0c<\/strong>\u52a0\u4e0a\u81f3\u8aa0\u79ae\u62dc\u5c31\u50cf\u4ee5\u6cd5\u6c34\u7684\u6e05\u6d41\u704c\u6d74\u8eab\u5fc3<\/strong>\uff0c\u5faa\u5e8f\u6f38<\/strong>\u9032\u7684\u65b9\u5f0f\u628a\u4e0d\u6de8\u7684\u67d3\u8b58\u4e00\u5b57\u4e00\u53e5\u7684\u8f49\u8b58\u6210\u667a\u3002<\/strong>\u4e5f\u5c31\u662f\u85c9\u7531\u4fee\u884c\u7684\u904e\u7a0b\uff0c\u5c31\u662f\u5c07\u516b\u8b58\u8f49\u70ba\u4f5b\u7684\u667a\u6167\uff0c\u4e5f\u5c31\u662f\u5c07\u516b\u8b58\u8f49\u56db\u667a\u3002<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, bowing to the Buddha is a way to detach from the self. The practice of \u201cone recitation, one bow\u201d uses body, speech, and mind to cultivate. Through chanting the names and virtues of the Buddha, combined with sincere bowing, one bathes in \u201cthe pure Dharma-water,\u201d which, step by step, it transforms impure consciousness into wisdom\u2014transforming the eight consciousnesses into the Four Great Wisdoms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u6240\u4ee5\u4e0a\u4eba\u8aaa\uff1b\u4eba\u4eba\u4f86\u5230\u842c\u4f5b\u57ce\uff0c\u90fd\u6709\u4efd\u6210\u4f5b\uff0c\u5c07\u4f86\u5fc5\u5b9a\u6210\u4f5b\uff1b\u4e0d\u662f\u50c5\u50c5\u4e00\u842c\u5c0a\u4f5b\uff0c\u90a3\u9ebc\u5341\u842c\u5c0a\u3001\u767e\u842c\u5c0a\u3001\u5343\u842c\u5c0a\u3001\u842c\u842c\u5c0a\u3001\u5343\u767e\u5104\u842c\u5c0a\u4f5b\uff0c\u90fd\u5728\u9019\u5152\u6210\u4f5b\u3002\u9019\u5df2\u7d93\u7d66\u5927\u5bb6\u5148\u6388\u8a18\u4e86\u3002\u6240\u4ee5\u4eba\u5230\u4e86\u842c\u4f5b\u57ce\uff0c\u5c31\u662f\u5165\u8056\u6d41\u7684\u4e00\u4efd\u5b50\u3002\u7121\u8ad6\u4f60\u662f\u5584\u7684\u3001\u60e1\u7684\u3001\u597d\u7684\u3001\u58de\u7684\uff0c\u90fd\u6709\u6210\u4f5b\u7684\u56e0\u3002\u7a2e\u9019\u500b\u56e0\uff0c\u5c07\u4f86\u5c31\u6703\u7d50\u9019\u500b\u679c\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thus, the Venerable Master said: everyone who comes to the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas has a share in Buddhahood and will become a Buddha. It’s not just about ten thousand Buddhas\u2014there are hundreds of thousands, millions, countless Buddhas attaining enlightenment here. This is a prediction of enlightenment given in advance. Those who come to the City have entered the sacred space\u2014whether good or bad, virtuous or evil, all have the seed of Buddhahood.
