In the blink of an eye, I am now in my second year at Dharma Realm Buddhist University (DRBU), and this year marks the beginning of my master&#8217;s studies. For the first time in my life, I was taken to the &#8220;little black room&#8221; at the customs office because they thought I was suspicious for quitting my job to return to school here. When I entered the small \u2018dark\u2019 room, the customs officer inspected my passport, and the silence made me feel afraid. I thought, &#8220;Am I about to be deported and sent back on the next flight?&#8221; I quickly pulled my thoughts back to &#8220;Namo Guan Shi Yin Bodhisattva&#8221; and began silently reciting. After a long time, the officer said, &#8220;Ms. Wang, I have some questions for you.&#8221; I thought, &#8220;Great, here comes my chance. I&#8217;ll answer truthfully and be myself.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u6211\u53eb\u738b\u4e00\u4e39\uff0c\u4f86\u81ea\u4e0a\u6d77\u3002\u8f49\u773c\u9593\uff0c\u6211\u5df2\u7d93\u5728\u8056\u57ce\u6cd5\u754c\u4f5b\u6559\u5927\u5b78\uff08\u6cd5\u5927\uff09\u7b2c\u4e8c\u500b\u5e74\u982d\u4e86\uff0c\u4eca\u5e74\u958b\u555f\u4e86\u7b2c\u4e00\u5e74\u7684\u78a9\u58eb\u5b78\u7fd2\uff0c\u5728\u5165\u5883\u6d77\u95dc\u7684\u6642\u5019\uff0c\u4eba\u751f\u4e2d\u7b2c\u4e00\u6b21\u88ab\u5e36\u53bb<\/strong><strong> \u201d<\/strong><strong>\u5c0f\u9ed1\u5c4b<\/strong><strong>\u201d<\/strong><strong>\uff0c\u56e0\u70ba\u6d77\u95dc\u89ba\u5f97\u6211\u975e\u5e38\u53ef\u7591\uff0c\u7adf\u7136\u8fad\u53bb\u5de5\u4f5c\u7e7c\u7e8c\u8b80\u66f8\u3002\u9032\u5165\u4e86\u5c0f\u9ed1\u5c4b\uff0c\u6d77\u95dc\u5b98\u54e1\u6aa2\u67e5\u6211\u7684\u8b77\u7167\uff0c\u5b89\u975c\u7684\u6c23\u6c1b\u8b93\u6211\u611f\u5230\u5bb3\u6015\uff0c\u6211\u5fc3\u60f3\uff1a<\/strong><strong>\u201d<\/strong><strong>\u6211\u662f\u4e0d\u662f\u88ab\u9063\u9001\uff0c\u5750\u4e0b\u4e00\u73ed\u98db\u6a5f\u56de\u53bb\u4e86\uff1f<\/strong><strong>\u201d <\/strong><strong>\u6211\u99ac\u4e0a\u628a\u601d\u7dd2\u62c9\u56de\u5230\u4e86\u300c\u5357\u7121\u89c0\u4e16\u97f3\u83e9\u85a9\u3002<\/strong><strong>\u201d <\/strong><strong>\u6211\u9ed8\u9ed8\u5ff5\u8457\uff0c\u904e\u4e86\u5f88\u4e45\uff0c\u6d77\u95dc\u5b98\u54e1\u8aaa\uff1a<\/strong><strong>\u201dMs Wang<\/strong><strong>\uff08\u738b\u5973\u58eb\uff09<\/strong><strong>, <\/strong><strong>\u6211\u6709\u554f\u984c\u554f\u4f60\u3002<\/strong><strong>\u201d <\/strong><strong>\u6211\u5fc3\u60f3\uff1a\u592a\u597d\u4e86\uff0c\u6a5f\u6703\u4f86\u4e86\uff0c\u6211\u53ea\u8981\u771f\u5be6\u56de\u7b54\u505a\u81ea\u5df1\u4fbf\u53ef\u3002<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He asked, &#8220;You&#8217;ve already graduated (from DRBU translation program). Why are you coming back to study (at DRBU MA program) again?&#8221; I replied, &#8220;I am here to embark on a journey of self-discovery, to understand myself better.&#8221; He then asked, &#8220;What do you plan to do after you graduate?&#8221; I answered, &#8220;I will continue teaching.&#8221; He looked puzzled and asked, &#8220;Then what\u2019s the point of studying?&#8221; I replied, &#8220;The better I understand myself, the better teacher I will be and the more children I can influence. Wherever the teacher is at is where the students are at.&#8221; I continued, &#8220;I am getting older, and it\u2019s time for me to starting self-exploration.&#8221; He looked at me and said, &#8220;Wow, Ms. Wang, I hope you have a great study in the U.S. You are free to leave and please exit here.&#8221; I smiled, thanked him and left. I planted some seeds in the customs officer for sure. A seed that we can begin the journey of self-exploration at any age, it\u2019s never too late. When my good friend picked me up, I shared this experience with her, and she laughed and said, &#8220;That was the Buddha and Bodhisattvas giving you an intention check!&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u4ed6\u554f\uff1a<\/strong><strong>\u201d<\/strong><strong>\u59b3\u5df2\u7d93\uff08\u5f9e\u6cd5\u5927\u7ffb\u8b6f\u73ed\uff09\u7562\u696d\u4e86\uff0c\u7232\u4ec0\u9ebd\u9084\u8981\u56de\u4f86\uff08\u6cd5\u5927\u78a9\u58eb\u73ed\uff09\u8b80\u66f8\uff1f<\/strong><strong>\u201d <\/strong><strong>\u6211\u56de\u7b54\uff1a<\/strong><strong>\u201d<\/strong><strong>\u6211\u4f86\u958b\u5553\u4e00\u6bb5\u8a8d\u8b58\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u65c5\u7a0b\uff0c\u66f4\u77ad\u89e3\u81ea\u5df1\u3002<\/strong><strong>\u201d <\/strong><strong>\u6d77\u95dc\u5b98\u54e1\u53c8\u7e7c\u7e8c\u554f\uff1a\u201c\u90a3\u4f60\u7562\u696d\u4e4b\u5f8c\uff0c\u6e96\u5099\u505a\u4ec0\u9ebd\uff1f\u201d\u6211\u8aac\uff1a\u201c\u7e7c\u7e8c\u6559\u66f8\u3002\u201d<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><strong>\u4ed6\u7d0d\u60b6\u7684\u770b\u8457\u6211\u8aaa\uff1a\u201c\u90a3\u4f55\u5fc5\u8b80\u66f8\uff1f\u201d<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><strong>\u6211\u56de\u7b54\u5230\uff1a\u201c\u7576\u6211\u66f4\u77ad\u89e3\u81ea\u5df1\uff0c\u6211\u53ef\u505a\u66f4\u52a0\u597d\u7684\u66f4\u6709\u5f71\u97ff\u529b\u7684\u8001\u5e2b\uff0c\u8001\u5e2b<\/strong><strong>\u5230<\/strong><strong>\u54ea\u88cf\uff0c\u5b78\u751f\u5011\u5c31<\/strong><strong>\u5230\u54ea<\/strong><strong>\u88cf<\/strong><strong>\u4e86<\/strong><strong>\u3002\u201d<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><strong>\u6211\u7e7c\u7e8c\u8aaa\uff1a\u201c\u6211\u6b72\u6578\u6162\u6162\u5728\u589e\u9577\uff0c\u9700\u8981\u958b\u5553\u77ad\u89e3\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u65c5\u7a0b\u4e86\u3002\u201d\u4ed6\u770b\u770b\u4e86\u6211\u8aaa\uff1a\u300c<\/strong><strong>Wow! Ms. Wang (<\/strong><strong>\u54c7\uff01\u738b\u5973\u58eb<\/strong><strong>)<\/strong><strong>\uff0c\u5e0c\u671b\u4f60\u80fd\u5728\u7f8e\u570b\u5b78\u7fd2\u9806\u5229\uff0c\u4f60\u53ef\u4ee5\u96e2\u958b\u4e86\uff0c\u8acb\u5f9e\u9019\u88cf\u51fa\u53bb\u3002<\/strong><strong>\u201d <\/strong><strong>\u6211\u5fae\u7b11\u8457\u8aac\u4e86\u201c\u611f\u8b1d\uff01\u201d\u96e2\u958b\u4e86\u3002\u6211\u5728\u6d77\u95dc\u5b98\u54e1\u5fc3\u88cf\u7a2e\u4e0b\u4e00\u9846\u7a2e\u5b50\uff0c\u4e00\u9846\u7121\u8ad6\u4ec0\u9ebd\u5e74\u9f61\u90fd\u53ef\u4ee5\u958b\u5553\u81ea\u6211\u63a2\u7d22\u7684\u7a2e\u5b50\uff0c\u6c38\u9060\u4e0d\u6703\u592a\u9072\u3002\u7576\u6211\u7684\u597d\u53cb\u4f86\u63a5\u6211\u6642\uff0c\u6211\u548c\u5979\u5206\u4eab\u9019\u6bb5\u7d93\u6b77\uff0c\u5979\u7b11\u8457\u548c\u6211\u8aac\uff1a\u201d\u90a3\u662f\u4f5b\u83e9\u85a9\u5728\u5c0d\u59b3\u9019\u6b21\u5fc3\u9748\u4e4b\u65c5\u7684\u2018\u521d\u767c\u5fc3\u8003\u9a57\u2019\u3002\u201d<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DRBU studies brought me back to explore myself more, which was as I said earlier the intention check \u201cWhy am I coming back again?\u201d from the Customs officer. In the class on the <em>Platform Sutra,<\/em> we were reading the second chapter on Prajna, and during the study, I made an interesting discovery. Prajna wisdom cannot be prepared. It is like singing or writing not to impress or to approve, sing and write because you just feel inspired and moved at that moment.&nbsp; This \u2018prajna cannot be prepared\u2019 in Platform Sutra class led me to a moment when I was in Cloud Mountain this July participating a ground-breaking ceremony which became my reference point of \u2018prajna cannot be prepared\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u6cd5\u754c\u4f5b\u6559\u5927\u5b78\u7684\u5b78\u7fd2\u8b93\u6211\u91cd\u65b0\u958b\u59cb\u66f4\u591a\u5730\u63a2\u7d22\u81ea\u5df1\uff0c\u9019\u5c31\u50cf\u6211\u4e4b\u524d\u63d0\u5230\u7684\u6d77\u95dc\u5b98\u54e1\u7684\u2018\u521d\u767c\u5fc3\u8003\u9a57\u2019\uff1a\u201c\u6211\u70ba\u4ec0\u9ebc\u53c8\u56de\u4f86\u4e86\uff1f\u201d\u5728\u300a\u516d\u7956\u58c7\u7d93\u300b\u7684\u8ab2\u4e0a\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u8b80\u5230\u822c\u82e5\u54c1\u7b2c\u4e8c\uff0c\u5728\u5b78\u7fd2\u904e\u7a0b\u4e2d\u6211\u6709\u4e86\u4e00\u500b\u6709\u8da3\u7684\u767c\u73fe\uff1a\u822c\u82e5\u667a\u6167\u662f\u7121\u6cd5\u6e96\u5099\u7684\u3002\u5531\u6b4c\u5beb\u4f5c\u4e0d\u662f\u70ba\u4e86\u8b93\u5225\u4eba\u7559\u4e0b\u6df1\u523b\u7684\u5370\u8c61\uff0c\u6216\u662f\u5f97\u5230\u8a8d\u53ef\uff0c\u800c\u662f\u56e0\u70ba\u5728\u90a3\u4e00\u523b\u4f60\u6df1\u6df1\u7684\u88ab\u555f\u767c\u3001\u53d7\u611f\u52d5\u3002\u6240\u4ee5\uff0c\u5728\u8ab2\u4e0a\u6211\u5c0d\u822c\u82e5\u7121\u6cd5\u6e96\u5099\u7684\u9818\u609f\uff0c\u8b93\u6211\u60f3\u8d77\u4e86\u4eca\uff08<\/strong><strong>2024<\/strong><strong>\uff09\u5e74\u4e03\u6708\uff0c\u5728\u96f2\u5c45\u5c71\u53c3\u52a0\u5960\u57fa\u5100\u5f0f\uff0c\u9019\u6210\u4e86\u6211\u7684\u4e00\u500b\u53c3\u7167\u9ede\u3002<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The story was: In China this summer, I attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the \u201c1000 People International Chan Hall\u201d at Cloud Mountain True Suchness Monastery where was Great Master Xuyun\u2019s last stop. During the ceremony, we symbolically scooped sand to mark the beginning this auspiciousness. When it was my turn, I released the sand from my palm and made a wish: \u201cI wish to be the bridge between East and West, to provide the opportunity for westerners to experience authentic, thousand years Chan.\u201d When the ceremony was ended, about 20 Abbots from all over China walked back to their dorm in a line. Suddenly, they stopped and discussed among themselves: \u201cHow could we start an International Chan Hall without \u2018\u8d77\u2019 (<em>qi<\/em>, In traditional Chan session, we start with \u8d77qi meaning raising, the beginning)?\u201d I observed them from a distance, when they stopped I felt this freedom, spontaneity from these Chan Masters. Then they harmoniously chanted \u8d77qi, and as soon as it was uttered, I felt a stream of warmth flowing through my heart to my body. I was in tears, filled with hope to be that bridge between East and West. <em>Qi <\/em>sound lasted for a while and when it was over, maybe about to be over. Without thinking, I used all my whole body strength to reply back \u8d77<em>qi<\/em> amidst the crowd of 1000 people. Moments later, the entire crowd started to chant \u8d77<em>qi<\/em> together. It was as if that moment was a mirror of the future for 1000 People International Chan Hall\u2014adorned and wonderful. When it was over, a Dharma Master who knew me turned around with surprise and excitement and said, \u201cYidan, you know, you caught the word \u8d77qi; you have bright future.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u6545\u4e8b\u662f\u9019\u6a23\u7684\uff1a\u4eca\u5e74\u590f\u5929\uff0c\u6211\u5728\u4e2d\u570b\u53c3\u52a0\u96f2\u5c45\u5c71\u771f\u5982\u79aa\u5bfa\u7d44\u7e54\u7684\u201c\u5343\u4eba\u570b\u969b\u79aa\u5802\u201d\u5960\u57fa\u5100\u5f0f\uff0c\u771f\u5982\u79aa\u5bfa\u662f\u865b\u8001\u6700\u5f8c\u7684\u99d0\u932b\u4e4b\u5730\u3002\u5100\u5f0f\u4e2d\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u8c61\u5fb5\u6027\u5730\u7528\u93df\u5b50\u93df\u8d77\u7802\uff0c\u6a19\u8a8c\u8457\u9019\u4e00\u5d84\u65b0\u7684\u958b\u59cb\u3002\u7576\u8f2a\u5230\u6211\u6642\uff0c\u6211\u5c07\u7802\u5b50\u5f9e\u638c\u5fc3\u653e\u4e0b\uff0c\u4e26\u8a31\u4e86\u4e00\u500b\u9858\uff1a\u201c\u6211\u5e0c\u671b\u6210\u70ba\u6771\u897f\u65b9\u4e4b\u9593\u7684\u6a4b\u6a11\uff0c\u70ba\u897f\u65b9\u4eba\u63d0\u4f9b\u6a5f\u6703\uff0c\u9ad4\u9a57\u771f\u5be6\u7684\u3001\u6709\u8457\u5343\u5e74\u6b77\u53f2\u7684\u79aa\u3002\u201d\u7576\u5100\u5f0f\u7d50\u675f\u6642\uff0c\u5927\u7d04<\/strong><strong>20<\/strong><strong>\u4f4d\u4f86\u81ea\u5168\u4e2d\u570b\u5404\u5730\u7684\u65b9\u4e08\u6392\u8457\u968a\u8d70\u56de\u4ed6\u5011\u7684\u4f4f\u8655\u3002\u7a81\u7136\uff0c\u4ed6\u5011\u505c\u4e0b\u4f86\uff0c\u5f7c\u6b64\u8a0e\u8ad6\uff1a\u201c\u6211\u5011\u600e\u9ebc\u80fd\u5728\u6c92\u6709<\/strong><strong> \u2018<\/strong><strong>\u8d77<\/strong><strong>\u2019<\/strong><strong>\uff08\u50b3\u7d71\u79aa\u4e03\u5728\u8d77\u4e03\u6642\uff0c\u5927\u773e\u9ad8\u8072\u541f\u8aa6\u7684\u5b57\uff09\u60c5\u6cc1\u4e0b\u958b\u59cb\u4e00\u500b\u570b\u969b\u79aa\u5802\u5462\uff1f<\/strong><strong>\u201d <\/strong><strong>\u6211\u9060\u9060\u5730\u770b\u8457\u4ed6\u5011\uff0c\u7576\u4ed6\u5011\u505c\u4e0b\u4f86\u6642\uff0c\u6211\u611f\u53d7\u8457\u9019\u4e9b\u79aa\u5e2b\u7684\u81ea\u5728\u548c\u701f\u7051\u3002\u7136\u5f8c\uff0c\u4ed6\u5011\u9f4a\u8072\u548c\u8ae7\u7684\u5531\u8d77\u4e86<\/strong><strong> \u2019<\/strong><strong>\u8d77<\/strong><strong>\u2019<\/strong><strong>\u3002\u525b\u4e00\u5531\u51fa\uff0c\u6211\u5c31\u611f\u5230\u4e00\u80a1\u6696\u6d41\u7a7f\u904e\u6211\u7684\u5fc3\u5230\u9054\u5168\u8eab\u3002\u6211\u6dda\u6d41\u6eff\u9762\uff0c\u5fc3\u4e2d\u5145\u6eff\u4e86\u5e0c\u671b\uff0c\u9858\u6210\u70ba\u90a3\u5ea7\u6771\u897f\u65b9\u7684\u6a4b\u6a11\u3002\u300c\u8d77\u300d\u7684\u8072\u97f3\u6301\u7e8c\u4e86\u4e00\u6bb5\u6642\u9593\uff0c\u7576<\/strong><strong> \u2019<\/strong><strong>\u8d77<\/strong><strong>\u2019 <\/strong><strong>\u8072\u7d50\u675f\u4e4b\u969b\uff0c\u6216\u8005\u5373\u5c07\u7d50\u675f\u6642\uff0c\u6211\u6c92\u6709\u591a\u60f3\uff0c\u7528\u76e1\u5168\u8eab\u7684\u529b\u91cf\u5728\u4e0a\u5343\u4eba\u4e2d\u5927\u8072\u56de\u61c9\u4e86<\/strong><strong> \u2019<\/strong><strong>\u8d77<\/strong><strong>\u2019<\/strong><strong>\u3002\u7247\u523b\u4e4b\u5f8c\uff0c\u5728\u5834\u7684\u4eba\u5011\u958b\u59cb\u4e00\u8d77\u9ad8\u5531<\/strong><strong> \u2019<\/strong><strong>\u8d77<\/strong><strong>\u2019<\/strong><strong>\u3002\u90a3\u4e00\u523b\u5f77\u5f7f\u662f\u4e00\u9762\u672a\u4f86\u7684\u93e1\u5b50\uff0c\u6620\u7167\u51fa\u5343\u4eba\u570b\u969b\u79aa\u5802\u7684\u838a\u56b4\u8207\u7f8e\u597d\u3002\u5100\u5f0f\u7d50\u675f\u5f8c\uff0c\u4e00\u4f4d\u539f\u8a8d\u8b58\u6211\u7684\u6cd5\u5e2b\u8f49\u904e\u8eab\uff0c\u9a5a\u8a1d<\/strong><strong>\u4e14<\/strong><strong>\u6fc0\u52d5\u5730\u5c0d\u6211\u8aaa\uff1a<\/strong><strong>\u201d<\/strong><strong>\u4e00\u4e39\uff0c\u4f60\u77e5\u9053\u55ce\uff1f\u4f60\u59a5\u59a5\u7684\u63a5\u4f4f\u4e86\u9019\u500b<\/strong><strong> \u2019<\/strong><strong>\u8d77<\/strong><strong>\u2019<\/strong><strong>\uff0c\u4f60\u6709\u524d\u9014\u3002<\/strong><strong>\u201d<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I reflected upon why it was me who caught \u8d77<em>qi<\/em> among 1000 people. How did I do it? While at Cloud Mountain, I realized it was the year at CTTB which empowered me and opened up my heart, providing me with more spontaneity and created space in the heart to myself and surroundings. When I read the <em>Sixth Patriarch\u2019s Sutra<\/em> in MA class. I realized that a pure mind could catch it, not the analytical mind asking, \u201cAm I eligible to respond to <em>Qi<\/em>? Who am I to respond?\u201d At that moment, my intention was pure\u2014I wished to be the bridge between east and west. I hung \u201cNoble Silence\u201d on my T-shirt, renounced my phone. During these four days in silence, at breakfast, I slowed down, tasted the berry in a way that I had never tasted before &#8212; crunchy yet soft, sour with sweetness filled my palate. At lunch I slowed down, chewing not shuffling food while talking. I had a sense of \u201cI have enough, it\u2019s time to stop. Greed, I see you.\u201d After lunch I slowed down, walking back with mindfulness. I remembered he pulled a singing bowl out, pointed at the space in the bowl and said: \u201csometimes we think these empty spaces are wasted.\u201d Then he gradually put in a clock, 2 pens, a notebook, and a water bottle into the singing bowl, he rang the bowl. I heard the \u201cClack,\u201d unpleasant short sound with no vibration or echo. He struck the bowl again. \u201cClack.\u201d Then he slowly pulled out the water bottle, notebook, pens and clock until nothing was left in the singing bowl. Stream of tears came out when the teacher took out things one by one, as if my worries, discontentment, self judgements, endless afflictions were being emptied out. He struck the singing bowl again, and the sound permeated the air throughout the universe, echoing back, the echo was so clear and resonant lasted for a very long time. Wow, that moment I realized my heart is like this singing bowl, my heart had space again, spaciousness, to contain new things. When it is filled up with no space, there is no echo, unable to resonate with the universe. Gradually, as we create more and more space, I became more capable of embracing and containing. When I interact with others, my heart is often full worrying about future or regretting the past, making it impossible to listen to others deeply, impossible to give myself fully at that moment, and unable to feel or resonate. This is because the inner world is cluttered, filled with unhappiness, worries, and self-judgment. By emptying out and creating the space allow me to listen to others more deeply and understand our own vibration or energy Qi can affect those around us. This singing bowl experience shifted the way I interact with myself and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p Two and half month\u2019s studies let me understand: professors gave guidance to clarity and unfold the texts, discussion with cohort members gave me more profound understanding of the readings. Readings are widening my perspective shift my way of seeing things, going closer to sutra gave me an opportunity to explore it and apply to my daily life. Writing is to put my aha moments, reflections and inspirational thoughts together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u7d93\u904e\u9019\u5e7e\u500b\u6708\u7684\u5b78\u7fd2\u548c\u81ea\u6211\u63a2\u7d22\uff0c\u6211\u610f\u8b58\u5230\u7d93\u5178\u4e0d\u50c5\u50c5\u662f\u7d93\u5178\uff0c\u6211\u7684\u4fee\u884c\u4e5f\u4e0d\u50c5\u50c5\u662f\u4fee\u884c\u3002\u7d93\u5178\u662f\u8981\u6d3b\u51fa\u4f86\u4e26\u878d\u5165\u751f\u6d3b\u7684\uff0c\u8981\u628a\u5b83\u5011\u4ea4\u7e54\u5728\u65e5\u5e38\u751f\u6d3b\u7684\u6bcf\u500b\u7576\u4e0b\u3002\u6d3b\u51fa\u7d93\u5178\uff0c\u8b93\u5b83\u6210\u70ba\u6211\u7684\u4e00\u90e8\u5206\u3002\u5b78\u7fd2\u8b93\u6211\u660e\u767d\u4e86\uff1a\u6559\u6388\u5011\u7684\u6307\u5c0e\u5e6b\u52a9\u6211\u6e05\u6670\u5730\u89e3\u8b80\u7d93\u5178\uff0c\u548c\u540c\u5b78\u5011\u7684\u8a0e\u8ad6\u8b93\u6211\u5c0d\u95b1\u8b80\u6709\u4e86\u66f4\u6df1\u523b\u7684\u7406\u89e3\u3002\u95b1\u8b80\u62d3\u5bec\u4e86\u6211\u7684\u8996\u89d2\uff0c\u6539\u8b8a\u4e86\u6211\u770b\u5f85\u4e8b\u7269\u7684\u65b9\u5f0f\uff0c\u66f4\u63a5\u8fd1\u7d93\u5178\u8b93\u6211\u6709\u6a5f\u6703\u53bb\u63a2\u7d22\u4e26\u5c07\u5176\u61c9\u7528\u65bc\u6211\u7684\u65e5\u5e38\u751f\u6d3b\u3002\u5beb\u4f5c\u662f\u5c07\u6211\u7576\u4e0b\u7684\u611f\u609f\u3001\u53cd\u601d\u548c\u9748\u611f\u5f59\u96c6\u5728\u4e00\u8d77\u3002<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I remembered in SC retreat this June, one of the professors told us a story. One day, Venerable Master Hua was asking all of them\uff0cwhat is the essence of Buddhism? Some of them said: \u201cSamadhi\u201d others said \u201cwisdom, prajna\u201d, some said: \u201cPrecepts.\u201d Master Hua shook his head again and again. One of the youngest disciples asked with curiosity: \u201cShifu, what is it then? please tell me.\u201d Master Hua replied patiently: \u201cChange.\u201d The essence is change. To change, to transform. Every moment is a new moment, change is renewal, renaissance and repentance. Change accompanied with openness to vulnerability, out of the comfort zone, pain, I guess it is called growing pain. I live in the world that constructed and created. I take full responsibility for my actions; I am the heir of my action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u6211\u8a18\u5f97\u5728\u4eca\u5e74\u516d\u6708\u7684\u5584\u8ca1\u4e2d\u5fc3\u79aa\u4fee\u6642\uff0c\u4e00\u4f4d\u6559\u6388\u7d66\u6211\u5011\u8b1b\u4e86\u4e00\u500b\u6545\u4e8b\u3002\u6709\u4e00\u5929\uff0c\u5ba3\u516c\u4e0a\u4eba\u554f\u4ed6\u5011\uff1a\u201c\u4f5b\u6559\u7684\u672c\u8cea\u662f\u4ec0\u9ebc<\/strong><strong>?\u201d <\/strong><strong>\u6709\u4e9b\u4eba\u8aaa\uff1a<\/strong><strong>\u201d<\/strong><strong>\u662f\u79aa\u5b9a\u3002<\/strong><strong>\u201d <\/strong><strong>\u53e6\u4e00\u4e9b\u4eba\u8aaa\uff1a<\/strong><strong>\u201d<\/strong><strong>\u662f\u667a\u6167\uff0c\u822c\u82e5\u3002<\/strong><strong>\u201d<\/strong><strong>\u9084\u6709\u4eba\u8aaa\uff1a<\/strong><strong>\u201d<\/strong><strong>\u662f\u6212\u5f8b\u3002<\/strong><strong>\u201d <\/strong><strong>\u4e0a\u4eba\u4e0d\u65b7\u5730\u6416\u982d\u3002\u6700\u5e74\u8f15\u7684\u5f1f\u5b50\u597d\u5947\u5730\u554f\uff1a<\/strong><strong>\u201d<\/strong><strong>\u5e2b\u7236\uff0c\u90a3\u5230\u5e95\u662f\u4ec0\u9ebc\u5462\uff1f<\/strong><strong>\u201d<\/strong><strong>\u4e0a\u4eba\u8010\u5fc3\u5730\u56de\u7b54\uff1a<\/strong><strong>\u201d<\/strong><strong>\u662f\u6539\u8b8a\u3002<\/strong><strong>\u201d <\/strong><strong>\u662f\u6539\u8b8a\uff0c\u6539\u8b8a\u5373\u662f\u8f49\u5316\u3002\u6bcf\u4e00\u523b\u90fd\u662f\u4e00\u500b\u65b0\u7684\u6642\u523b\uff0c\u6539\u8b8a\u662f\u66f4\u65b0\u3001\u662f\u65b0\u751f\u3001\u662f\u61fa\u6094\u3002\u6539\u8b8a\u4f34\u96a8\u8457\u5c0d\u5167\u5fc3\u8106\u5f31\u7684\u63a5\u53d7\u3001\u8d70\u51fa\u8212\u9069\u5708\u3001\u7d93\u6b77\u56f0\u82e6\uff0c\u6211\u60f3\u9019\u5c31\u662f\u6240\u8b02\u7684\u6210\u9577\u7684\u56f0\u82e6\u5427\u3002\u6211\u5011\u751f\u6d3b\u5728\u4e00\u500b\u7531\u81ea\u5df1\u69cb\u5efa\u548c\u5275\u9020\u7684\u4e16\u754c\u88e1\uff0c\u6211\u70ba\u6211\u7684\u884c\u70ba\u8ca0\u5168\u90e8\u8cac\u4efb\uff0c\u56e0\u70ba\u6211\u662f\u6211\u7684\u884c\u70ba\u7684\u7e7c\u627f\u8005\u3002<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Transformation is slowly emerging every second without knowing while I am in CTTB, like the little Qi story I shared just now, the magic CTTB cast. Like a keyhole, city of ten thousand Buddhas opens up ten thousand worlds, provides ten thousand dharma doors accordingly with skillful means. The future is unknown, it could be scary and fearsome, but it where infinite possibilities and potential lie, where beauty abides, where transformation awaits.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u8f49\u5316\u6b63\u5728\u6084\u7136\u767c\u751f\uff0c\u6bcf\u4e00\u79d2\u90fd\u5728\u8b8a\u5316\uff0c\u800c\u6211\u8eab\u5728\u842c\u4f5b\u57ce\u6642\u4e26\u672a\u5bdf\u89ba\uff0c\u5c31\u50cf\u6211\u525b\u525b\u5206\u4eab\u7684\u5c0f<\/strong><strong>\u2018<\/strong><strong>\u8d77<\/strong><strong>\u2019<\/strong><strong>\u7684\u6545\u4e8b\u4e00\u6a23\uff0c\u9019\u5c31\u662f\u842c\u4f5b\u57ce\u7684\u795e\u5947\u3002\u5c31\u50cf\u4e00\u500b\u9470\u5319\u5b54\uff0c\u842c\u4f5b\u57ce\u70ba\u6211\u6253\u958b\u4e86\u901a\u5411\u842c\u5343\u4e16\u754c\u7684\u5927\u9580\uff0c\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e86\u7121\u6578\u500b\u6cd5\u9580\uff0c\u4e26\u904b\u7528\u5584\u5de7\u65b9\u4fbf\u6559\u5c0e\u6307\u5f15\u6211\u3002\u672a\u4f86\u662f\u672a\u77e5\u7684\uff0c\u5b83\u53ef\u80fd\u6703\u4ee4\u4eba\u5fc3\u751f\u6050\u61fc\uff0c\u4f46\u6b63\u662f\u9019\u500b\u672a\u77e5\u624d\u6709\u7121\u9650\u7684\u53ef\u80fd\u6027\u548c\u6f5b\u529b\u5b58\u5728\u3002<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><strong>\u5145\u6eff\u4e86\u5e0c\u671b\u7f8e\u597d\uff0c\u4e5f\u5145\u6eff\u4e86\u8f49\u8b8a\u7684\u53ef\u80fd\u3002<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A friend from DRBU asked me: \u201cHow do I want to live my life?\u201d How do I?
